In short
No tracking in your browser
These sites set no cookies, run no JavaScript, store nothing on your device and load nothing from third parties. You will not see a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only data about you is the web server's access log, described below.

Access logs
What the server records
For every request to a service under romandanko.sk, the web server records:
- your IP address, and the time of the request;
- the site and page requested, the response status and size;
- your browser's user agent (its name and version);
- the referring page, if your browser sends one.
No other request headers are recorded; in particular no cookies or credentials.
Purpose and legal basis
Why
- To run and secure the services: diagnose errors, detect and block abuse.
- To count readers in aggregate: views per page, number of visitors, which sites link here.
The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are not used to build profiles, not combined with other data, and not used for advertising.
Retention
How long
Access logs are deleted automatically after 90 days. Counts derived from them, which contain no IP addresses or user agents, may be kept longer.
Processors
Who else handles the data
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: servers and load balancer.
- Scaleway SAS, France: storage of the logs.
Both act on my behalf under a data processing agreement; the data stays in the EU. It is not sold or shared with anyone else.
Elsewhere
Email and linked services
If you email me, the message is stored in my mailbox at Proton AG (Switzerland, covered by an EU adequacy decision) for as long as the conversation needs. The status page at status.romandanko.sk and other linked sites are run by third parties under their own policies.
